My Problems with The Malaysian Chinese

Why the malays feel that the chinese are not truly malaysian.....

1) Till today they insist on sending their kids to the chinese school. Why? Why cant it be a national school? Their kids will grow up not able to speak malay which is a national language. Is this the trait of a truly malaysian citizen? They grow to distrust the malays. So i feel the chinese should decide whether they want to be truly malaysian or not!!

2) In Penang - Some chinese wants to replace the road signs to be in chinese!! what is this?????? Where do they think they are???? China???

3) Halal food issue - They know that the malays are sensitive about the issue of halal non-halal food. Yet they have never shown respect on this sensitivities. There are still issues until today on the validity of some halal claims. Why cant they respect & be honest about this?

4) In business - a chinese seller would give better discounts to another chinese buyer. This happens most of the times. Is this fair too?? If a malay wants to open up a biz on hardware shop - do you think he can survive? Do you think he can get cheap prices ? No because this is all controlled by the chinese. Because of this action, the malay shop will never be able to offer a competitive price. Regardless of race, a buyer will always look for the best bargain. So will the malay survive?? Never!!

5) Office - The chinese looks down at all malay staff. Regardless whther he is good, he will never be recognised by the chinese boss. Even if the ability is the same, the chinese staff will definite be the better choice! Why? Why cant you be fair?

6) One person claimed in Malaysiakini letter, that the chinese are fair because they pay tax and the tax money are used for the benefits of the malays. Fair claim but did they pay the tax voluntarily of because it is compulsory? They pay tax because of it being compulsory!!!! In fact they will pay as little as possible - A chinese biz will have 3 accounts book - one for bank, one for tax and one for own use!!

I have so many other examples - endless. You now what, I will be called a racists after this. But you know what, you are not fair to us because of what the government has been doing to you for the past 50 years. That is understandable and i do not blame you. BUT the main question is , will you be fair to us if we are fair to you. Can you warrant to us that by sweeping out the racists policies , you will be fair to us?? Does your chinese associations be able to act fairly towards us? No doubt the western educated chinese will be able to do that but the majority of them, chinese educated will not be able to do that! AND THAT IS WHY WE WILL NEVER BE FULLY INTEGRATED! NO TRUST BETWEEN EACH OTHER. Remember, ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. Until this is actually happening, all races competing on level par, treating each other on fairly, benefitting together etc, only then will we see a change in this country.

Nothing makes me want this more than anything because we can live peacefully - I miss the muhibbah time when i was growing up. This word, muhibah means nothing nowadays.
